Specific Game Rules for Tipping Point!

The first critical rule that is essential to understand is SG3 which states that "platforms are "safe" during the endgame" in the last 30 seconds of the driver control period robots may not contact the opposing teams Alliance Platform. If a robot does touch the opposing teams Alliance Platform they are automatically disqualified even if the violation is not match affecting. This is very important since it makes the last 30 seconds of the game critical since if you place mobile goals on the ramp (or park yourself) the opposing alliance cannot de-score those points. Another important rule this year is SG6 "Rings on the Alliance Mobile Goal are "safe"" so you cannot intentionally remove rings from the Alliance Mobile Goals. This rule however will only result in a disqualification if the removed rings end up being match affecting. This is important since this means you have to be very careful when dealing with your Opponents Alliance Mobile Goals since you may break this rule.
